Bus Passengers at Pulo Gebang Integrated Terminal Go Up

The number of Inter-Province bus passengers departed from Pulo Gebang Integrated Bus Terminal is increasing.

Mostly the passengers want to spend the long-holiday in their hometown or just visiting tourism sites.

Pulo Gebang Integrates Bus Terminal Head, Badman Harahap said the passenger surge was already seen on Wednesday (5/28) evening by total 4,220 passengers using 469 inter-province buses.

"The number is twice higher compared to normal days by 1,500 to 2,000 passengers," he said, Thursday (5/29).

He added that there were 630 passengers departed by 100 buses in this morning up to 9 AM.

"Mostly the destinations are West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta," he added.

Badman predicted the number passengers will remain go up until Friday.

Meanwhile, one of the passengers heading to Pemalang, Central Java, Joko (42) admitted he wants to spend holiday in his hometown.

"I often go to my hometown especially for long-holiday moment like this since my wife and children live there," he admitted.
